The ACT Council of Parents and Citizens Associations (Council), Companion House and ACT Principals Association have teamed up to host a forum to help schools create a sense of belonging for migrant and refugee parents and students.

Canberra’s key public-school parent group, the ACT Council of Parents and Citizens Associations (Council), welcomes the $55 million allocated in today’s ACT budget for new education initiatives. 

As ACT students go back to school, community leaders have written to ACT Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, calling on him to increase the number of psychologists in ACT schools as recommended by the Expert Panel On Students With Complex Needs and Challenging Behaviours

The ACT Council of Parents and Citizens Associations has, for some time, identified bus driver training as an area of need. Several years ago, in response to parent concerns we helped establish disability awareness training for drivers of special needs buses, as well as new ACTION drivers.
