Have Your Say: Shaping a Parent Advocacy Service

Too many parents and carers tell us they feel lost, unheard, or dismissed when they try to raise concerns about their child’s education.

What families need is early, practical support to navigate the education system and ensure every child gets the help they deserve.

That’s why we are working to establish a Parent Advocacy Service: an independent, dedicated support for parents and carers who need help making their voices heard and resolving issues before they become entrenched.

We don’t want to see more money poured into a complaints system that is already broken.

But we also know that the best solutions come from the people who will use them. That’s why we’re asking you - our community - to help shape what this service should look like.

Tell us what you think: Your input will directly inform our advocacy and help ensure this service truly meets the needs of ACT families.

Together, we can build a stronger voice for parents and carers - and a better system for our kids.
