This marks my fourth year on the Executive Committee, and throughout this journey, I have learned a great deal.

It brings me immense satisfaction to be part of a community that empowers parents and provides resources and training to the P&C committees at the Public Schools.

As a mother of three children who have all been part of the ACT public school system, I have long been an active supporter of our schools. I began volunteering at Garran Primary during my children’s early years, and later joined the Narrabundah College P&C Committee when my son moved into College. It was during this time that I became involved with the ACT Council of Parents and Citizens Associations as an Executive Member.

ACT Parents - recently refreshed with a redesigned and modern public interface - continues to develop and perform as a strong voice of advocacy for parents in ACT public schools.

Drawing on my experience and relationships within our public schools, I am excited to support initiatives and programs that help P&Cs enhance the public school system and create positive outcomes for families and students.

I look forward to the year ahead and the opportunity to represent and advocate for the issues that matter most to parents and students across our community.
