Council is proud to be part of the RSEA - Relationships and Sexuality Education Alliance - which was launched late last year to advocate for comprehensive relationships and sexuality education. All parents are invited to be involved.

P&Cs are welcoming new families starting school — with a little help from Council and Children’s Week funding.

The ACT Council of Parents & Citizens Associations believes parents will welcome the extension to the provision of Rapid Antigen Tests in schools announced by the ACT Government today.

Commenting on today's announcement of back to school plans, Alison Elliott, President of the ACT Council of Parents and Citizens Associations (the peak body for public school parents) said:

"The basis of these plans look familiar to parents – it's similar to what we had for Term 4 last year. We know that many parents are confident in and support those measures - things like cohorting, masks for year 7 and above, reminders that people stay away if unwell, ventilation and outdoor learning."

Council has used several formal opportunities this year to present to government a schools wish list which represents parents, carers and P&Cs.
