A simple way for families to raise what’s happening  

The ACT Education Directorate has released a draft refresh of the Safe and Supportive Schools Policy Suite, which sets out how student wellbeing, behaviour, bullying, and safety are supported in ACT public schools.

ACT Parents, the peak body for ACT public school parents, is urging families to act now, with the organisation’s survey a final opportunity for parent experiences to be heard directly by the panel reviewing public school funding and staffing.

ACT Parents the peak body representing over 60,000 ACT public school parents and carers has launched a territory-wide survey calling on parents and carers to share their experiences and priorities as our public schools face growing strain. 

Too many parents and carers tell us they feel lost, unheard, or dismissed when they try to raise concerns about their child’s education.
