Reporting on Meetings - for Council Reps

After every meeting you attend in your role as a Council representative, please complete a quick written report and send it to us (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

To make this as easy as possible, we have a report template - just fill in the blanks to cover:

  • an outline of discussions at the meeting
  • any new developments
  • your input
  • issues which need to be discussed further by Council
  • any matters on which you need guidance
  • suggested follow-up needed by the office or Council Executive

Your reports will allow other delegates to become familiar with the issues involved. They can then provide you with helpful and effective guidance.

Your report also informs Council Executives of any issues which may need to be raised with the Minister or Directorate officials.

Your report will also help record the history of various issues which will be invaluable to future volunteers and representatives.
